Stocking for the Arctic

Turns out I am going to be sending this off but it'll be kept for next year's project, but it means it's not going to waste and I don't have to spend a lot on postage since the time doesn't matter now.

UNFORTUNATELY this won't be going to the Arctic!
I went to the post office today but the lady said that even if I sent it by courier (which would cost me 58 bucks!) it would still only get to Alaska on, or after Christmas TT_TT
So I'm not going to send it off maybe next year...though by then I think I'll be able to make a much better stocking!


This is the stocking I made for the Stockings for the Arctic project.

Sorry the photo's aren't that great, I just took some quick shots before I've gotta send them off - I hope it's not too late, I don't know how reliable our post is for international mail...

Um yeah so I don't really like it... It's a really bad quality (the sewing machine hates me ), I mean it's only the third time I've sewed something completely, but still, I didn't think things through enough before starting it so some of it's really badly put together, and I had to hand stitch the stars and writing on by hand because I forgot to do that before sewing the stocking itself together...

But anyway, I'm gonna send this off tomorrow, HOPEFULLY IT GETS THERE IN TIME D: D: D:
And if they have enough stockings already, I don't mind if they don't use mine cause I really wouldn't want to ruin a poor lil kid's christmas with my terribly-made stocking

However it was made with lotsa love (and time, but it was fun-ish lol), and I guess it's the thought that counts
